When configuring the Record Sets that are including in the sync scope of the Axsy Mobile App, the Axsy Config Tool includes the ability to configure, for the top-level object being synced, the object tree of related records that should also be synced.
Whenever a parent object in the object tree has a 1-to-many relationship with a child object - i.e. the child object is a related list on the parent object - it is possible to optionally define filter criteria on which child records should be included in the sync rather than include all child records.
NOTE: A relationship between a parent and child object that is 1-to-many will be visualised in the object tree by 3 lines to the right of its icon. A 1-to-1 relationship will be visualised with a single line to the right of its icon.
To define filter criteria for a related list during editing of the sync object tree:
- Select the pencil icon next to the related list that is to be filtered
- Select the Filter tab
- Select the Enable Filter button
- Add one or more filter criteria based on field values and, if multiple criteria are added, specify what logic should be used to combine them via AND and OR rules
- select the OK button
